It has international goals for competitions in gliding, motor flying, flying microplanes and many branches within model flying.
The plant is operated by the Norwegian Air Sports Federation's Gliding Division. Ole Reistad Center is the course / conference unit of the facility with accommodation options in rooms and cabins. The Norwegian Air Sports Foundation and local clubs offer both basic and advanced pilot training in gliders, microplanes and airplanes.
